For several years I assembled my own studio piece by piece: buying gear in advance, learning new processes. Patience and consistency get rewarded.
Our life is like a big Lego set.
We can build almost anything if we put in the effort and the discipline.
A few years ago I set myself the goal of having my own studio.
Sometimes very slowly, sometimes faster, but I moved towards that vision systematically. I bought some equipment in advance. I figured out processes that were new to me, asked different people for advice.
Patience and consistency get rewarded. We’ve already done 90% of what we wanted. Every day now my social media carries videos filmed in my own studio. It’s a great feeling.
Like a big construction set. You put different pieces together. You see how well they “get along”. You change the configuration and try again.
When we finish setting up our new filming space, I’ll show you what I started with back in 2011.
And is there something in your life that you’re building with real enthusiasm?

Reading helps, but what changes a life is specific steps, not reading. Fifty minutes of conversation is usually enough to see which steps are yours.
