Some days feel like a whole year. Dentist, generator, office, a consultation, my parents, evening prayer — here's everything I got done in a single day.
Some days feel like a whole year. Long, productive, exhausting.
Today I:
- did my morning routine
- went through my set of back exercises
- read some of “Great by Choice” by Jim Collins
- recorded stories about my home off-grid power system
- worked at the computer, ordered my parents an uninterruptible power supply for their apartment
- drove to the dentist and, on the way, called the hotline of the legal club I’m a member of and got advice on my current questions
- had 2 teeth filled
- went for a CT scan of my whole jaw
- went to a Nuga Best showroom and picked up a tourmaline mat for my parents to test-drive for a couple of weeks. If it turns out useful for them, I’ll buy it
- stopped by the Kulik System store and had a look at an office chair for myself
- stopped by the Kärcher store and bought a vacuum cleaner for the office
- on the way back, stopped at the car market and bought 2 cans of oil for the generator
- stopped to eat at Homey café and got a couple of dishes to take to my parents
- ran a consultation at the office
- drove to my parents. Brought them the vacuum cleaner from the office, the Nuga Best tourmaline mat and the food
- sat with them for a while, then gave my father a lift to the shop
- went to the petrol station and filled a canister with 92-octane fuel for the generator
- went to evening prayer, there were 6 of us
- dropped the fuel canister off at the office
- meanwhile a handyman worked at our place all day and assembled our new wardrobe and 2 bedside tables
- got home

That’s the kind of endlessly long day it was. Saying I’m tired doesn’t even begin to cover it.
And how was your day?

Reading helps, but what changes a life is specific steps, not reading. Fifty minutes of conversation is usually enough to see which steps are yours.
