People with a big audience aren't special. They just do, with discipline, what everyone else isn't willing to do.

I still can’t quite believe that this many people are interested in following what I do and watching my content.

I remember how three years ago everyone with an audience of more than 10,000 seemed special to me. As if they knew and understood something that was still beyond me.

When I think now that 450,000 people have subscribed across all my social media, I still can’t fully take that number in.

When someone well known (in a studio or at a blogger gathering) tells me they follow me and like my videos, on the outside I stay calm and thank them politely.

But inside me a happy kid claps his hands, delighted that it’s not only me watching these people — some of them watch me too.

I still don’t consider myself a blogger, and it feels a little odd when someone introduces me that way.

When strangers say hello to me on the street or someone comes up to take a photo, it genuinely makes me happy. A fleeting moment like that can lift my mood for the whole day.

Now I understand that people with an audience aren’t special. They simply do, with discipline, what others aren’t ready or willing to do. That’s the whole difference.

I want to thank everyone who watches, shares, likes, comments on and forwards my content.
