When a woman receives plenty of attention, affection and warmth from the man she loves, she gives all those same beautiful things back to him.
A woman is very fertile “ground.”
I first came across this thought in Filipp Savochka’s book Family From A to Z. The original line goes:
“Every woman is like the earth. Sow nothing in her and weeds will grow. But invest good seed in her, and in time you’ll gather a good harvest.”
I agree with this completely. When a woman receives plenty of attention, affection and warmth from the man she loves, she in turn gives all those same beautiful things back to him.
But when a woman feels neglect, inattention, indifference and selfishness from her man, it becomes very hard for her to stay resourced and full of life. Serious problems and rows start in the family.
Of course, what I’m describing works both ways. A wife’s attitude towards her husband follows the same principles. It’s just that for a man, other things in a relationship may carry more weight.
