Apps That Help

Apps That Help

Six apps that save me time and make me money: Notion, Google Calendar, Google Drive, a habit tracker, a sobriety counter and Youtube.

The apps that save me time and make me money.

There are a few tools I can hardly imagine my life without any more:

  1. Notion — this is my second brain. This program replaced Evernote, Trello, a CRM system, Excel, Word and a pile of other software for me. Notion is an environment where you can build any architecture of content, notes and files you like.

Our whole team runs its work through Notion.

  1. Google Calendar. It is better to spend 30 seconds putting an important event in it than to dig through old chats afterwards and apologise to people for forgetting something.

All my events and consultations are in there.

You can also give your loved one access to your calendar, and then it is easier to sync family plans.

  1. Google Drive. I keep all my files, photos and videos there. The logic is convenient, and you can always give someone else access to any piece of information.

Right now I pay for 2 TB a year, but soon I will move up to 5 TB. It is a good investment. It frees up time.

  1. Habitty (Loop on Android) — a habit tracker. This is where I check off all my habits every day. The very fact of keeping a tracker is very motivating and gives you dopamine every time you tick the box next to an item.

Right now I am working on the habit of writing a text every day.

For building self-discipline it is an indispensable thing.

  1. WillPower — a time counter. You set the start date yourself and then see how long you have been free of some bad habit. For example, my app shows how long it has been since I drank coffee, ate sweets, ate meat and so on.

  2. Youtube. For some people YouTube is just a replacement for the TV and a way to relax in front of a screen with entertaining content.

For me YouTube is an endless and powerful university.

The channels I am subscribed to are super useful. Thanks to that knowledge I act faster and more precisely, which in turn shows up in my results.

Thanks to YouTube I do not have to make every mistake myself. This platform gives me new knowledge, new ideas, speed and, as a result, a better quality of life.

Would it be worth putting together a list of the most useful channels I watch?

And which apps and programs make your life easier?

It is rarely a lack of knowledge
