Today is the finale of this public literary marathon.
In my last two posts, yesterday and the day before, I explained why I’m temporarily stepping back from writing daily.
The main reason: I’ve started spending 30-50 minutes every morning working on books, and now I want to write chapter after chapter with the same discipline I used to publish post after post.
For me, the “not a day without a line” challenge continues, and I’ll try to write at least a few lines or a paragraph even on the busiest days.
The difference is that from now on, you’ll only see texts in my blog that I already consider finished and polished.
The main downside of my literary marathon on social media was that I couldn’t deliver quality every single day.
I often wrote posts with no inspiration, running purely on willpower and discipline. This past year confirmed that I can create content literally every day. But doing it with genuine enjoyment and enthusiasm only happens for me when I have pauses and rest.
This month, my combined audience across all social platforms will cross the 500,000 mark. So now I want to put content quality front and center.
I want to step back from daily text posts for a while, so I can come back to you a little later with books and a more structured approach.
The hashtag #ost_write_1_line_everyday will stay, because I keep writing books every day, and my literary marathon continues. Just not in public.
