What does my life actually look like right now? No particular insight or attempt to be useful here — just what's going on at the moment.
What does my life look like right now?
I sometimes want to write posts that just share what’s going on in my life. No particular insight, no attempt to be useful.
Since November 18th, I’ve stopped writing in the blog every day, but every morning I spend 30-50 minutes working on my books. I really enjoy that process. The book on relationships is now about 30-40% done.
Yesterday I saw Nastya off on a two-week trip. She’s got some really interesting adventures lined up for the next few days.
I don’t love being home alone without my wife, but where she went and who she went to see makes me happy and inspired. Some significant changes might be coming up in her life.
While Nastya’s away, I want to do some minor renovations in our apartment. We’ve built up a few annoying unfinished bits.
Today I went for an abdominal and thyroid ultrasound. Everything’s fine. In a few days I’ll go for a heart ultrasound. I’ve decided to do a full health check-up once a year and track my key indicators while I’m still healthy. It seems smarter to me than waiting to treat something once I’m already sick.
For now, my doctor has me taking 2000 units of vitamin D every day.
I’m actively looking for a recruiter to join the team. I’m hoping this person can also act as my personal assistant in some areas. I need to bring on 5-6 more people right now, and I’ve realized I’m tired of searching for staff on my own.
My blog is approaching the 500,000-user mark across all social platforms combined. Honestly, that number still doesn’t quite fit in my head.
From November 25th to 30th, our school is running Black Friday. That’s the time of year when the team and I go into submarine mode. Things get hectic, and we often can’t keep up with everyone.
Starting December 9th, a new cohort of the “Healthy Self-Esteem” course kicks off. I love that program, because after it, a lot of people start living completely differently. They stop being afraid and start acting far more confidently in life. Many people’s family relationships improve too.
This past month I’ve been going to bed at midnight and waking up at 8am. I want to try shifting that to 11pm and 7am. I’ve also learned not to eat for 2 hours before bed. I notice a huge difference compared to when my schedule was off. When you actually get enough sleep, you feel a lot better.
I’ve started working with a YouTube mentor. You’ll see new content formats on my channel soon.
That’s it for now. That’s the news. What do you think of this format? Is it worth bringing you into the context of my life like this?
How are things with you overall? What’s happening in your life?
