People have 4 hours for fighting but no 30 minutes for each other

There's always time for shouting, never time for a calm conversation. A simple recipe for a happy relationship that almost nobody chooses.

How do you build a happy relationship?

If there’s one thing in life I genuinely don’t understand, it’s the choices many people make in their relationships.

People can find 4 hours a day to argue and shout at each other, but not 30 minutes a day to maintain an emotional connection.

How does that work in practice?

For a relationship to keep growing, a husband and wife need to talk to each other every single day.

And I mean quality conversation — the kind where there’s real interest in one another. Where we actually want to understand and hear the person we love.

When we’re paying attention, it becomes easy to give our husband or wife exactly what they need.

And when a person gets what they need, they’re happy in that relationship.

So learning to hear and understand each other through everyday conversation is a simple and very effective recipe for a happy relationship.

Why most people choose to fight instead, I don’t understand.

Do you?
