100 Days of Writing Every Day

100 Days of Writing Every Day

One hundred days of daily posts: how it sharpens your attention, why one idea per post beats five, and what the habit of writing every day gives you.

Today marks 100 days of me writing every day. So far we are publishing a new post daily as well.

It is a fascinating experience — you become far more observant. You start thinking in headlines and turning everything interesting that crosses your path into content.

I try to develop one main idea per post. I used to want to pack as much usefulness and as many insights as possible into a single text, but later I realised that one key idea lands better than five useful ideas covered superficially.

The text format has definitely found its audience. There are now people (you) who read these posts. Some even look forward to them. That feels good.

On top of that, texts like these dilute our endless reels factory a little.

The decision and the habit of writing every day is very disciplining. It is also a decent way to self-reflect.

After 100 days of daily posts I can say that I will be extending this writing marathon. Let’s see how long I last.

What do you think? Will I be able to keep writing every day for long?

Reading helps, but what changes a life is specific steps, not reading. Fifty minutes of conversation is usually enough to see which steps are yours.
