How Do You Build a Queue of Customers?

If you learn to create content people actually find interesting, social media will find the audience for it — whether you're a freelancer, artist, or engineer.

“How do I get customers to find me on their own?”

That’s a question I asked myself many times before 2022. In May of 2022 I started actively blogging, and it turned out that if you learn to create content people actually find interesting, social media will find the audience for it on its own.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a freelancer, an artist, a mom on maternity leave, a lifestyle blogger, or an engineer. If you understand how the social media algorithm actually works and how human attention functions, you can use social media to bring your boldest ideas to life and unlock incredible opportunities.

In April (a month ago), we launched a course for men called “4 Roles.” We got 457 inquiries, and 290 people bought the course.

We don’t have a classic sales department. We don’t use scripts. We don’t call customers. We don’t promise anyone the world, and we don’t guarantee phenomenal results in 3 days. We don’t run paid ads, we don’t pay influencers. If anything, we warn customers up front that our programs require a lot of work and effort to get the results they want.

So how do hundreds of people end up enrolling with us every month?

It all comes down to producing a lot of video content using a specific method.

Thanks to that system, my social media accounts together grow by 15,000 to 30,000 followers every single month.

We get between 15 and 25 million views on our videos every month, and we don’t put anything into that besides our ideas, effort, and time.

Platforms like Facebook and YouTube even pay us for those views, and bring us a ton of new customers.

You might think this all works out great for us, but probably wouldn’t work for you. No studio, no equipment, nobody’s inviting you onto TV or radio yet.

For some motivation, it’s worth checking out my TikTok. There’s a tab for “old videos” where you can see my very first “masterpieces.” You’ll see videos shot on a front camera with terrible audio. You’ll see me awkwardly greeting my followers at the start of each video. You’ll see that back then I had no idea what a “hook” was or how to open a video in a way that grabs attention.

But even that terrible start let me begin learning. Over the past 3 years, I’ve learned an enormous amount about social media, and I’ve learned not just how to rack up views, but how to build an actual queue of customers for my work.

I’m ready to share this whole system with you, so you can cut down your own trial-and-error time and start taking effective action right away.

Those of you who can stick with our approach to creating content will be able to systematically grow an audience — and customers will start reaching out to you for your products and services on their own.
