The event that changed everything, and almost nobody noticed it.
I talk to a lot of people right now and I read a great many comments. I can see that many people don’t know what to do to fix their financial situation.
Yesterday I wrote on the blog that there are a lot of different asymmetries in the world.
One of the biggest opportunities people aren’t using right now is THE INTERNET.
Yes, I understand that everyone has it in their phone and plenty of people think they’re using it. But I’m not only talking about entertainment, leisure and scrolling social media.
The internet changed the global rules of the game forever, everywhere in the world.
You can now be a divorced mother of 3 small children, living in a remote village that doesn’t even have a Nova Poshta branch — Ukraine’s main parcel service — and still, if you have a phone and the internet, your life can become something completely different. Even if you have only 30 free minutes a day, you can start learning and growing.
For free, through Google and YouTube, you can work out how to run your own social media and start creating content about your life in that village. You’d be surprised how many people will find it interesting to follow.
If you keep developing in it, you’ll start to understand why some content lands with an audience better than other content.
Later you’ll be able to post in your stories that you consult on social media, or that you’re ready to run someone’s Instagram, or that you already know how to edit video on your phone, or that you can advise a young mother with a newborn.
Whatever skill you master, the internet means people all over the world can find out about you. They can become your clients, and your life can change radically.

My life became different forever thanks to the global web too.
For example, this month alone we have 130 people studying at our New Lifestyle school on the course “Healthy Relationships.” I run that course from my apartment on an ordinary webcam, with my bed in the background.
Ukrainians living all over the world come to those Zoom lessons to repair their relationship with the person they love.
That is incredibly cool!
Yes, by now I have my own studio, a team, equipment and certain resources.
But it all started for me the same way it did for Paula: free learning online, dozens of hours of trial and error on an old computer and a glitchy phone, the feeling that nobody needs you and your ideas and vision.
Then, if you don’t quit, something starts to work.
The internet has created for every one of us opportunities that even 50 years ago weren’t available to the most successful people on this planet.
So when will we start using them?
