Why I teach people

Why I teach people

At 31 I decided to bet on the work I loved and focus only on my online school. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.

Why is it important to do work you love?

At 19 I was lucky enough to speak in front of a crowd for the first time. It was a small insurance-company office with up to 10 people in the room. Even then I started to notice that on that mini-stage I felt completely “in my element.”

A hobby that pays

For most of my life since — from 19 to 31 — teaching people was more of a paid hobby. I made a living from marketing, running social media for other people, video shoots, brokering deals, producing, and many other things.

When at 31 I decided to bet on the work I loved and focus only on my online school, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.

Money and meaning are different things

You can make money in a lot of fields. But the real sense of deep meaning is given by far from every activity.

For years I did all sorts of things that fed me financially, but my inner potential stayed unrealized.

When I went 100% into teaching people and creating educational content, it turned out this activity fills me with meaning like nothing else — and also brings in solid money.

What came of it

In the first year of building the school properly, over 1000 students came to us. Today there are more than 3500.

Last Black Friday — exactly a year ago — we sold 293 courses at the discounted price in less than one week.

I regularly get lots of positive feedback and thank-you messages. Our courses have helped some people save their marriage, others improve their finances, others find their calling and start their own business.

The difference is real

When you do work you don’t love — you work hard for small money. When you’re in your element — working hours fly by (not always, but most of the time), and making decent money becomes much easier.

That’s why I always recommend clients to follow their own genuine interest. Our innate gifts and talents are already there. We just need to recognise them and, at some point, find the courage to bet on them.

If you haven’t found your true work yet — check the pinned “Calling” highlight on my Instagram. There’s a course there that helps you find that right activity and start earning from it.
