Good decisions gradually make life better — bad ones gradually ruin it. Both add up over years and one day become our reality.
Everything in our life accumulates.
All the good decisions we make gradually make life better — in the same way bad decisions gradually ruin it.
”Love lasts three years” and other convenient explanations
Many people think love, closeness, passion and emotional connection disappear from their relationship because that’s just how it goes with time. Because “love only lasts three years”…
The uncomfortable truth for someone who thinks this way is that if a relationship with a loved one is suffocating and turning sad today, it means the couple is accumulating bad decisions and hasn’t yet learned how to build a relationship.
Money problems and “no time”
Or take the situation where someone has constant money problems. Or spends all their time at work and “doesn’t have time” for their family. They may think everyone lives this way, and that financial trouble and time scarcity are just the norm.
But the truth is: this is not how everyone lives. Only those who aren’t ready to learn in this area and make wiser decisions.
The main principle
I could extend this analogy to many areas of life, but one main principle applies to all of them: we only reap the harvest we sowed ourselves.
Our thinking is what makes the life around us look the way it does today, not otherwise. And until a person is willing to look in the mirror and take responsibility for their own growth — their circumstances can deteriorate quickly.
What I do
At some point I decided to become a student and actively study relationships, financial literacy and building my own business. Over the last 15 years I’ve learned a lot — and it helps me shape my life the way I want it.
I share my most important findings and tools with students at the New Lifestyle school. It has 15 programs on relationships, wealth and personal growth.
If you feel ready to start systemic improvements in your life and to accumulate the right things — write to me directly and I’ll be glad to walk this path with you.
