I caught a cold and started wondering whether the body uses it to say: slow down and rest.
I picked up some kind of cold the other day. First my throat hurt, then my nose started running non-stop. Today chills and a low-grade fever joined in.
Could it be that the body is signalling to its owner that it’s time to ease off and get some rest?
It’s happened to me a couple of times that moments like this landed exactly on a stretch when I should have rested and rebooted.
I don’t want to take antibiotics yet. How do you treat a cold? Any home remedies you’d vouch for?
Or have I simply reached the age where I react to the weather?
And has it ever happened to you that your body sent you into this kind of hibernation when you’d been working yourself into the ground?
