A bookshop slipped a small gift into my parcel — and earned a free recommendation in a blog that almost no advertiser can buy their way into.
Today I collected a book from the parcel locker — The Nutrition Compass, which I’d ordered a couple of days ago.
The seller (the shop biz-book.com.ua) had added another book as a gift: Jim Rohn’s The Seasons of Life. A small thing, but a very pleasant one.
This is exactly the kind of service our country badly lacks.
Brands and entrepreneurs approach me regularly asking me to advertise their product or service. I don’t do it, because I can’t vouch for people I haven’t worked with personally. I don’t want to recommend things I don’t use myself.
So getting into my blog with outside advertising is almost impossible. And Biz-Book simply put in a small book that costs them maybe ten hryvnias — and I wanted to tell you about them of my own accord.
Every time we give a customer more than what they paid for, they walk away with a good impression and they’ll be ready to tell their friends about us.
